Happy Friday, my friends!

The Indiana Geeking Podcast is back, with an episode that I know at least four people look forward to every year! That's right, it's the yearly Magic: The Gathering episode! Joining me at Geek Cave Studios are my friends Jarred Juett and TJ Zmina to talk about what has happened on the M:TG scene since their last visit in June of 2018. To continue with the trend started last year, this episode is the first part of a two-part series! Knowing how these two talk, I went ahead and did part one covering the releases through the remainder of 2018, and next month we'll talk about everything released up until M:TG 20.

So, sit back, sort some cards, and let these guys bring you up to date for the next hour and sixteen minutes!

Happy Friday, my friends! We’re back with the third episode of the Indiana Geeking Podcast, the podcast where we focus on Hoosier-based creators and events!

After an unintended break in May, I had the opportunity to sit down with my friends with The Shake Ups, to talk about their new album! That album, Meddling Kids, actually releases today, so you can actually go get it after you listen to this interview! You can also see them tonight at Radio Radio, and this weekend at PopCon Indy!

So, without further ado, join me as I give you some top events for the month of June, and then talk to The Shake Ups about how their albums happen, how they kill their favorite cartoons, and they take some questions from listeners! Plus, we have TWO new songs from their newest album! So kick back, and let us fill your earholes for a little under an hour!

Happy Friday, my friends! We're back with the second episode of the Indiana Geeking Podcast, the podcast where we focus on Hoosier-based creators and events!

This month, Lizz and I took a trip to one of the top 3D Printing events, the Midwest RepRap Festival. Held in Goshen, it brought in makers from across the world to show off their work, their machines, and eat tacos. As we were looking around, and preparing to start our own journey into 3D printing (more on that next week), we found some folks from here in Indiana that we wanted to talk Hoosier business with. Luckily, I had the trusty old Zoom H1 with me, so I was able to get some interviews with some folks in northern Indiana who make 3D Printers, filament, and use all of this to make their own props and costumes!

So, without further ado, join me as I give you some top events for the month of April, then jump into a series of short interviews with some of the local folks tabling at MRRF! Don't worry, this one's only about 45 minutes long! NOTE: You can find the Facebook Photo Album with the photos we took at this link.

Guess what time it is? That's right, it's time for the long-awaited return of the Indiana Geeking Podcast! Now that I've helped my friends get their podcasts off the ground, it's time to focus on this one! Moving forward, Indiana Geeking will "air" on the first Friday of every month! Gone are the days of "Is it weekly? Is it monthly? Did he remember it?", instead we're going monthly, along with the other members of the Team Geeking Family of Podcasts.

For 2019, I'm really excited to bring on local cartoonist David Reddick! I first became familiar with his work through the "Legend of Bill" webcomic and his work on StarTrek.com and Roddenberry.com, and have followed his "Intelligent Life" webcomic since day one. Being a local cartoonist, we have many mutual friends, but it wasn't until recently where we finally had the opportunity to meet! So now, we have him here on the Indiana Geeking Podcast, talking about his work in comics, growing up a Geek in Indiana, and more! So sit back, put in your earbuds, grab a cup of Raktajino, and enjoy the discussion!

Happy Monday, my friends! The Indiana Geeking Podcast is back, with an episode that I know at least four people look forward to every year! That's right, it's part two ofthe yearly Magic: The Gathering episode! Joining me at Geek Cave Studios are my friends Jarred Juett and TJ Zmina to talk about what has happened on the M:TG scene since their last visit in June of 2017. For an Indiana Geeking Podcast first, this episode is the second part of a two-part series! There was so much to talk about things happening from both a financial and a player standpoint, that I kept track of time and cut the discussion off, to make sure we didn't have another 100 minute episode! With this in mind, tuck in for the next 69 minutes to listen to the three of us shoot the bull about all of the expansions and issues with the game from early 2018, up to the release of Core 2019, including thoughts on the beta of Magic Arena!

Happy Friday, readers, and welcome back to the Indiana Geeking Podcast! For our third episode of 2018, I was given the opportunity to sit and talk with most of the members of our local Star Trek band, Five Year Mission. You've heard their music before, as they've been kind enough to let me use them for the opening tracks of the podcast since last year, and in this episode we talk about their newest album, Year Four! Join Mike Rittenhouse, Andy Fark, Noah Butler, and Patrick O'Conner as we talk their favorite series, ambushing Simon Pegg, throw shade at Star Trek Discourse, and talk about their latest album! In addition, as it's a shorter interview (they needed to practice), I threw in a bit of information about upcoming events. Even with that, however, this episode tracks at just under thirty minutes! So, sit back, and let us fill your earholes with some laughter, some 5YM trivia, and a track from their new album!

We are back, with another episode of the Indiana Geeking Podcast! This week, we've got someone a bit different! Phil Kellar is a local costumer, who has replicated costumes from all sorts of sci-fi franchises over the years, and is currently running a business called "Spacey-Wacey Wear", helping supply both Rebels and the Resistance with the soft parts they need to fight the Empire and the New Order. Phil's been a friend of mine for years, and I wanted to talk to him a bit about his history making costumes, tips for new builders, and why something like this costs a pretty penny! I would know, myself, because Phil is the person helping me out with the soft parts to my Resistance Pilot! So, let's sit back, and let Phil and I (with music by The Shake Ups and Five Year Mission) fill your earholes for the next 45 minutes!
